Within, Okinawa there are various satellite branches that promote and pass on the legacy of Meibukan’s founder, Yagi Meitoku Dai Sensei. These Dojos, along with the Meibukan Hombu Dojo and its president, Yagi Meitetsu Sensei, have a distinguished status among the various long-standing associations for Karate. Those who practice at the Hombu will meet some of Okinawa’s top teachers of Okinawa Goju-Ryu.
